Details:
Star Tribune staff writer Mark Brunswick covers military affairs. He has been with The Star Tribune since 1986 with assignments in Iraq, Bosnia, and Kosovo. He recently returned from a month-long assignment in Afghanistan. Prior to his current assignment, Brunswick covered politics and government at the State Capitol in St. Paul for ten years. Prior to that he covered county government and public safety. A native of Youngstown, Ohio, he is a graduate of Ohio University. He has also worked for The Dayton (Ohio) Daily News, The Cincinnati Enquirer and the Associated Press. He lives in Minneapolis.
